Values
Communion
Communion describes relationship with God. We are called to intimacy with Him in order to know our core identity. We are His beloved, and His favor rests on us through the benefits of Jesus’ death and resurrection.
Community
Community describes our relationship with each other. We are called to be a community of people whose faith is centered in Jesus the Christ. Love is shown through forgiveness toward others who are not perfect, as we are not perfect. It is also looking for and celebrating the gifts that God has given to each one of us so that we can accomplish His purposes during our allotted time here on earth.
Compassion
Compassion describes our attitude toward others. We are called to be in the ministry of reconciliation. Through the compassion of Christ, we offer love to all people. Our love is expressed in caring for the whole person – body, mind and spirit. It is a love that is intent on bringing others into our “community” where they may find “communion” with God.
